UEFA Final

A couple of days late, but better to post than not at all.  93rd minute goal seals Barca's win and entry into the final.  Not sure if I really care who wins - will be a damn site more interesting than a Man U v Chelsea final would have been.  Go Barca!

Meant to reply to this but forgot. Am looking forward to the match tonight. I always support british teams in Europe. Go United.

And Nadal has just walked out for his 2nd round match at Roland Garros. What an afternoon/evening for sport!!

I'm in Barcelona right now and things are already getting crazy. After I eat I may head down to the rambla and watch the end if I can squeeze into a bar.

So, in a nutshell, United were outclassed. They were made to look mediocre against Barca. Barca were so tight in midfield United couldn't get any space to do anything.

Messi's goal was pretty incredible (coming from a non footbal fan). He just sort of flew at a weird angle but hit it perfectly.

The streets were certainly alive all night here after the game. lots of car honking and fireworks. Riot police as well but nothing really go too out of hand.
