Picked this up for a few bucks the other day (local record store closing down). I never gave much attention to Macca, I have most of the Beatles albums and a few compilations, and I have Band on the Run somewhere (as well as Plastic Ono Band, Imagine and All Things Must Pass). It's a really good album, a lot less wank than I expected. Calico Skies is gorgeous and The Song We Were Singing is a good little tune. I've heard bits and pieces of his latest "Memory Almost Full" but it's a bit too "When I'm 64" for my liking. I might check out Chaos & Creation in the Backyard, which is meant to be his best since Flaming Pie.
