Football Season 2012
« on: September 09, 2012, 07:45:24 PM »
I don't remember the last time the bears put 40+ points on the board. It wasn't a great game, but pretty fun too watch Cutler unleash. Very atypical for Chicago to see 10+ yard passes :p.  Defense didn't look great, but overall, I think it will be a decent season.

Plus the Pack is losing!

Yes, thank you :) i saw the first and last quarter of that game and it was nice to see Rodgers getting shut down like he did. Plus i really like the intensity of your coach.

I will say... Peyton looks like he hasn't missed a beat.  He looked strong and alert (except for that one sack we got where he just got blindsided).  The Denver D was good, and like I said, FUCK TRACY PORTER.

As far as Peyton is concerned I'm shocked that anyone is surprised. He was my first QB choice on both FF leagues with Brees as a close second. Injuries happen in football I never had a lick of doubt that Peyton would be anything short of stellar.

Just plain impressive:

"Manning took just two snaps in the third quarter. But one was a 71-yard touchdown throw to Demaryius Thomas, Manning's first as a Bronco and the 400th of his career.

He reached the milestone in his 208th career game. Dan Marino did it in his 227th game and Brett Favre in his 228th."
