I just lost Ryan Grant, who was my main RB.  If anyone has a decent RB on the bench, can you please propose a trade for someone else I have?

I have Grant in both my leagues this year so this fucking sucks!

I have a ton of running backs that are all pretty close to the same level (except Jones-Drew). I'd consider giving you one in exchange for swapping QBs, or for Moss or Jackson, or for Hines Ward (but not Brandon Jackson for him).

In my other league, I got Jay Cutler and Matt Forte for Brees.  Make me a similar trade and I'll consider it.

I don't think I did.  Look at the numbers and look at the situation in Chicago.  I think it's actually a really good deal when I didn't have another decent RB on my roster.

Didn't I just make that offer? Philip Rivers and Matt Forte for Brees and filler. I'll go do it on fleaflicker later this morning.

The situation in Chicago is dire - the o-line is godawful and Forte regressed last year.  Cutler is still going to throw a zillion picks (but he'll probably get a lot of yards, since they'll be playing from behind frequently).  Don't put too much stock into the numbers from last week, the Lions secondary is still one of the worst in the league.

Drew Brees is one of the top 2-3 fantasy QBs in the league and I wouldn't trade him for anything less than another superstar

edit: Cutler also basically has no receivers.

I know the o-line isn't great and I know I'm not trusting Forte's numbers from week 1.  But I don't think it's as bad as you're making it out to be or you and I aren't reading the same shit.

I don't have a lot of options.  My RBs are fucking shit and I'd almost rather take my chances with a slightly lesser QB and a decent RB instead of JUST a great QB.  I think the points would even out.  Plus, my other league is PPR for RBs, so Forte makes more sense there because he does get a fair amount of receptions.  I don't remember if this league is that way or not.

Sidenote: I haven't accepted Charlie's trade yet.  I might wait a week to see what happens in my other league.

I think Rivers is clearly better than Cutler, which would even out the PPR issue. My problem is that after Jones-Drew I have 5 running backs that pretty much have the exact same ranking as each other (same as Addai from your team).

Heck, I'll give you two of them if you give me a Wide Receiver so I can play somebody during week 7 when my other receivers are on the bye.

So... let's take a vote for worst coach of the year right now.  Oh wait, we don't have to vote.  That's me.

Ouch, that Steelers versus Ravens decision didn't turn out so well. Then again, I left 46 point Jahvid Best on my bench.
