It seems like all the good sites are useless, google is filtering search results, servers are complying with new laws, and 9/10 torrents are broken and unuseable......:sigh:

now to wait for the next "bittorrent" to come along

Where do you go for torrents?  I usually use kickasstorrents and it seems to be just fine

Most of the sites I used are gone as well.  Then again, I haven't torrented anything for a long time since my ISP nearly cut me off.  If I go back to any of this, it will be through newsgroups.

All over, but i used to use Pirate Bay for everything. Their tracker is down for good. Isohunt has been complying with US law. Demonoid is unreliable. Rapid Share never seems to have what i need. Same with minova.

I buy lots of books.  Sometimes I download them.  Other times, I go to the library.  I have lots of options :)
