Better mail app for Gmail + iPhone

So setting up the new phone and I'm finding I don't like the mail app for use with Gmail.  See I have quite a lot of labels and filters that put mail directly into those labels.  Well the mail app isn't looking at the imap folders for new mail.

I don't think they allow other mail apps on the iPhone.

You need G-Push. I installed it on my boss's work iphone and IIRC it had an option to exclude all folders but inbox or, in your case, check them all.

Have you tried just going to gmail.com ?  Their iPhone interface is pretty darn good.  Many people like it better than the mail app (so lifehacker claims).  That being said, I use lots of labels (though few multi-label items) and I have no trouble with the iPhone mail app...

I have no problem with the interface, it just doesn't update the labels in regards to new messages.

So you have things being auto-labeled then?  I don't have that going on and I have no problems with the default mail app.

Yeah my filters apply the label and archive the mail. I like keeping my inbox clean and use labels for sorting.
