Family recipe book
« on: July 16, 2012, 10:07:20 AM »
Anyone done this? Ashley and I have been contacting all of our relatives for our favorite recipes they prepare and creating a recipe book for each of our families so that we can pass them down to our kids eventually and hopefully they will do the same and continue to grow it.

We still need to find the right books to use, right now it is all jotted down in notebooks. I even included my grandfathers favorite recipe for making wine and a beer as well.
hey ethic if you and i were both courting lily allen..... oh wait, which one of us has a relationship that lasted more than the bus ride home?

the only recipes I write down are on here - my wife, on the other hand, has a very nice hand written recipe book she has made over the years.

When we got married my wife got a bunch of recipes as a wedding shower gift from my family and hers.  Pretty cool and we use a lot of them!

We don't need to write ours down. The recipe is always there on the side of the box.

Actually my wife does have a collection, a mix of family recipes and many from other sources. It's kind of all thrown together in a book binder type thing though. It would be cool to make it nice.

No recipe book. Everything is by memory and to taste.
