so I've needed new brakes pretty bad for a while now.
Firestone quoted me way over $300 to do it... so I've been putting it off.
My cousin is a mechanic and offered to do it for $40 plus parts (which he gets a discount on). He even swapped cars with me for the day so I could still drive to work while he took my car to his shop. For $100 in cash I've got new pads and rotors on my car and can stop without my steering wheel shimmying and fear of rear-ending the car in front of me!
