True Detective

Fucking excellent new show on HBO, halfway through its first season.  Stars Matthew McConaghey and Woody Harrelson - they're cops chasing an occult killer in Louisiana.  It's unbelievably dark, but the acting and writing are incredible.  I had been watching it on my lunch hour at work but had to stop because it made me too uncomfortable

I've been watching this as well. Really well done and the acting is 10/10. Even my wife likes it and she doesn't generally like these sorts of shows.

My wife got bored after two episodes. It's pretty slow starting.
