Good idea: Keeping the chef knife really sharp
Bad idea:  Not using proper finger position while using said chef knife

Cut the top of my finger pretty damn cleanly and put a small cut on the next finger.  Yeah, I really fucked up.

Sharp knife cuts are the worst because their clean and can't clot as well. Don't go near a x-acto knife if you are tired.

So switched out bandages and it looks like it has healed nicely.  Nice thing about sharp knives is that they don't mangle the skin so it went right back into place when I put the first bandage on.

I use scalpels at work.  Wicked little things.  Super useful though.  Highly recommended for precision work.
