I could believe it though, he may not have been doing what he said he was, he prob. just found some program that was supposed to crash the computer and he probably did crash his.

Maybe the crashing computer part is true.. but the "deleting the hardrive.. oh im at 45% .. *duder is offline (ping timeout)" doesnt really sound true. The first 2 times he ran it the computer crashed.. and the third erased his hard drive? doesnt sound right.

I'm not sure if the "hacking 127.0.0.1" story is more or less apocryphal than the "using the rm -rf / command as root" story.
Mention it on somewhere like Slashdot though and every swingin' dick on the net will give you his version.
