top notch flick. took two evening to see it, but very enjoyable. My kids loved it as well - they got quite emotional.

I may have mentioned it before but the audio book smokes the movie and the paper version.  Please check it out.

Read the book, watched the movie. Both were good, not great. Don't know why The Martian is getting Oscar buzz, but I guess I never have good opinions on movies if I've read the book first.

We started watching it on our flight back from our honeymoon and had to rent it on Amazon. Good movie. We both enjoyed watching it.
