First time I've every upgraded opera with no problems whatsoever...except for the whole ctlr-n vs ctrl t thing...but I fixed that...

Gmail works so much better now...

I downloaded it at work and at home.

I like how they changed a new tab to CTRL + T :)

I hate that.  I went in and changed it back.  Part of me wants to make myself learn ctrl-t to be like the rest of the world...but that'd be a pain in the ass.

I haven't tried this myself but from what I've read but you you using a program that runs with admin privileges on your machine open up a dialog box that allows you to save or open a file and type in *.* the file name box and press enter.  This will show you all the files in the folder , right click on the opera install file and click open from the context menu.

With the new version, one tab is always left open.. I am so used to double click when I close my final tab to always have one open.. its going to take me a little while to stop doing that :)

He has to install it first - that takes a whole other set of admin privliages - like editting the registry.

huh, hadn't noticed that Canuck...cool.

Kermi3, that's what those instructions allow him to do.  Since he is opening the opera install program from an open/save dialog box of a program with administrative permissions,  the opera install program is spawned with administrate permissions.

You can turn that off in the settings though :P
