Topic: Microphone dose not work in vista

I recently got my self a chat headset (headphones with mic) and was able to get it to work on xp without problems.  However I am unable to get it to work on vista.  I've tried the sound recorder, only to record blank files.  Any ideas?

Can't help you there.  I've only done recording with an usb interface on vista, and that was after a little bit of patience.

Well, I managed to get it to work.  I've been playing around with voice recognition for opening closing minimizing maximizing, etc.  Programs it is great however for text input such as I'm doing here it's not as good but I do not need a keyboard.
