Topic: Madden 09 at 7-Eleven

They've had the paper sign on the door for a month advertising the deal and today I just couldn't pass up the offer.

With the purchase of a Snickers bar, I got a $10 off coupon for Madden09 and was able to pick it up for $49.99.  Thats an unheard of price for a new xBox360 game.  Even SamsClub's best price is like $57.xx.

Anyone played this yet? I cant' wait till I get home to try it out.

The problem is that most of the games only have the ability to turn off the commentaries which turn off the play-by-play.  I want Al Michaels, just not fatso.

have you played a Madden game lately? I had 07 and he barely talked in it..just when he suggested a play for you...and there was zero play-by-play... except for a stadium announcer after each down.

in 09 the only time you hear/see madden is in the training/practice modes.  During the game theres an announcer and color-commentator.

so far I like it.  I suck at it, but I like it.
