It was on Bravo the other day, so we Tivo-ed it... I've only seen bits and pieces before, and I must say this movie is freaking me out.

I think the creepiest part is that damn little kid with his ticking finger.  The weird thing is, King uses that whole ticking finger trick in the Dreamcatcher with a guy that has a "gift" as well.

I love creepy movies... can't wait to finish this one tonite.  :thumbsup:

yea, shining is freagin awesome...probably my third favorite movie from Kubrick.

i can't stand the chick in the movie (sorry, her name escape's me and i'm too lazy to google/imdb it)..her screaming is just so put on, i mean it's like you start laughing when you're meant to be scared.  but otherwise, it's a pretty scary film.  the scene with the blood flooding out the lifts..crazy stuff.

Shelley Duvall.

She looks like Olive Oyl, which is appropriate, since she played her in the 1980s movie version of it.
