It wasn't necessarily the host that made the show, because I didn't particularly think Jack's skits were all that funny, but they actually really made me laugh this past week. They have a fairly new guy on the cast (Andy Sandberg) and he's really turning out to be hilarious. He's done a few of these "SNL Short" type skits, and they've been an absolute riot. This past week's was gut-busting funny. I'm transferring it to my PC from my Tivo and I'll see if I can grab that part of the show and post it, but my sides hurt I was laughing so hard.
