That depends on the theater, though. I've been to some where it makes movies more fun, but my local theater is not exactly full of lively types.

Yeah, the right theater can make even the most inane movies fun.  I've got two theaters near me, one that is generally empty where I watch dramas, action movies, etc to get away from the rowdy crowd, and another thats always full where I watch my comedies.  Hell, I even enjoyed Snakes on a Plane with a half drunk crowd!

That's exactly the movie I was thinking of when it comes to theater crowds making bad movies fun.

I haven't seen it yet, I don't know if I'll ever have the crowd necessary to enjoy it. ;)
