If all the favorites win this weekend, it's going to be pretty interesting next week.
In the NFC, that would mean Seahawks and 49ers. There's been a rivalry between these two teams the last couple years as they've been the best two teams in the NFC while playing twice a year in the same division, plus their coaches were rivals in college (USC versus Stanford- there was a famous run in where the now-Seattle coach asked the now-SF coach,
"What's your deal?" after he ran up the score and so everybody thinks they have a beef now) and the teams have two of the best young quarterbacks in the game so are set to be rivals for years. Seahawks are better and have the home field advantage, and they've beaten the 49ers easily at home the last two times, so they would have the upper hand, but it would be fun to watch, though.
Even better would be the AFC matchup. Peyton Manning (Denver) against Tom Brady (New England) again. Both guys have lost games they were expected to win over the last few years and neither has won a Super Bowl in a while even though they're considered two of the best ever. Every year they play each other and they are constantly compared. There would be a ton of (over-)hype for this game, but it will still be super intriguing.
