everyone's in a band
« on: June 19, 2005, 08:23:29 AM »
seems as though, every place i go,
everyone's in a band.

and it's getting rather bland
talking about modes & scales, but
because your sister's cute
I fake interest
in your latest tuneless shit
that you think is gonna be a hit
oh, sorry mate, but it's not great -

it's the same song that we've all heard
girl broke a guy's heart
now he's drunk and lost at 3am
and he got this brainstorm,
to turn pleasure into pain
the relationship gone down the drain
now the source of a thousand fucking songs
from a thousand fucking bands.

and it's all so fucking bland
because everyone's in a band.

nice stealthy, I like this one. I guess the "band" and "song" sentiment could be transcribed to other groups as well...
Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Howdy,
Thats pretty much what my garage sounds like most of the time.
