You have no idea... You should have been there. My form was impeccable. The whole crowd was oohing and ahhing at my toe touch.

My astounding success must be due to a triumphant return to the place where I bowled my all-time high score of 190-something roughly 15 years ago. Bowling a few games every 3-4 years has clearly kept me in top form.

But I'm not going bowling again any time soon. The local bowling alley costs over twice as much as the place I went last weekend (the on-campus bowling alley from my old college). $15 for two people to play two games each plus shoes (and it could have been cheaper if we went with the hourly rate) versus $20 for two people to play one game each last time I checked the local place 10 years ago.
