Was very excited about this one, and for the most part it delivered the goods. Interesting plot and story line, good acting and very good production. If you like fantasy a la tolkien's world, you will like this as well. The only issue I had, without giving out spoilers, is the anticlimactic ending to the season...
the other issue is not with the series itself, but with how it was released - what is the point of releasing one episode per week on a streaming service (FYI this is on Amazon Prime) - all episodes of a season should be released at once.
Oh, and one more thing, it is quite gory at times - in case you want to watch with the little ones. Not quite as bad as GOT but more than LOTR
