Cluster SSH
« on: May 22, 2012, 04:30:01 PM »
Just got informed of this great tool today.  Let's you open many SSH connections to various hosts all at one time and to send them commands from one window.

My current task has me doing the same thing on about 8 servers and this just saved me a TON of time.

I prefer that for SSH stuff.  I don't need it all on the same screen at once though... tabs are sufficient for me.  I don't know if Cluster SSH remembers passwords or not but I love that feature of mRemoteNG.

Cluster SSH uses the native SSH client so it doesn't remember passwords but if you have keys setup it'll use them.

And does mRemoteNG allow you to send commands to all servers at once?  I just installed a port on 8 servers at once and it was like installing it on just one.

No idea on the multi-server send.  I've never tried or needed to do that.  mRemoteNG just sits on top of putty and adds the tab/password storing capability.
