I kinda say no too.  Unlike "Monday Night Football" which was a weekly produced show that only ran on one network (untill last year) and had the NFL designate 1 game per week to be on that show... the Superbowl is more of a one time event (that just happens to occur every year)

but then again, thats just my "feeling" on it... if someone else thinks otherwise I don't really care.  I don't really have any problem with it.

I've been verifying by looking on IMDB (which is pretty random I guess, but oh well). So far it seems to follow my instinct. Each Super Bowl is a separate page there, so each Super Bowl is a separate show.

The rules say that something should have multiple episodes to avoid movies, so an individual Super Bowl wouldn't be eligible either. I'd consider relaxing that rule if necessary, but I don't think it will be a big deal.

My thinking was along the lines of it as an annual series...despite the imdb differenes.  Even if it airs on different networks, it's always produced by and owned by "The National Football League..."
