Kickass book about religion vs. science (mostly fictional).  The author is Dan Brown (Davinci Code) and I really like his writing style.  I'm going to read the Davinci Code next and I've already bought 2 more of his novels.

If anyone else has read this book, I'd love to discuss it (I'm about 20 pages from the end), but I don't want to give out any spoilers for those who have yet to read it.

If you want a copy of Deception Point or whatever the hell it's called, I can send it to you if you want.

I didn't read it, and don't plan to.

Sorry, this weird cult that's sprouted up around the DaVinci Code really bothers me.

There are a pretty good chunk of people reading the DaVinci Code who claim it's nonfiction.

Come on, do they have to write fiction on the cover for people to get it? Anyway, its a cool book, nearly impossible to put down!

Angels and Demons was better than da Vinci Code, in my opinion.

Bought this a few weeks back have yet to get into it - read the first three chapters, seemed pretty good.  It's not high lit., but who gives a fuck.

I categorically refuse to read anything by Brown after that god-awful Hollywood Screenplay that was Deception Point. Hell, I didn't even finish it.

It doesn't sound like this is the place for me to give away my book :(

It's hardcover and everything!

We can hold a sort of joint book burning if you wish. I'll grab the book next time I'm in Boca. Fueling fire is an infinitely better use for any of his books than reading them -- although I suppose that they have that effect on Catholics anyhow.

I wasn't aware people actually thought the Davinci Code was non-fiction.  But you guys do realize that some of the stuff in the books is real, right?

Yeah, but a lot of the stuff people believe is real is fictional.
