Wireless woes
« on: June 29, 2006, 11:08:36 AM »
So I got around to flashing the firmware on my new wireless router. I tried configuring the WDS setup on the routers with my limited knowledge and was unsuccessful. So, I found an article on Tom's Hardware with instructions. After setting both routers to the same channel, entering the MAC addresses and switching the router type I thought I was set, but when I tried to hit a website, no go. :(
They're both Linksys routers running the same firmware so they "should" be compatible I must be missing something. Anyone have any other tutorials or setup a system like this? If I can't figure it out I may just run it as client mode since I only have one PC downstairs right now.

If you're running both in series, you may want to read RoD's post: http://forums.entropysink.com/index.php?topic=2385.0
