this is an adult cartoon on netflix. Wildly inappropriate. Super funny. Especially the hormone monster(s).
Actually, I am super surprised they are letting this air in today's PC climate.

Should we get into a debate on that second sentence or let it go...
:p

Haven't seen it to comment on the level of inappropriateness.

take the bait!!
;)
but I think I should have said the "me-too culture" instead of "PC culture" - but perhaps for this show it is both.

I haven’t seen it but my guess is PC culture is probably closer than MeToo. Unless he’s sexually assaulting or harassing people in the show then metoo doesn’t really apply.
My quibble with the original comment is the idea that vulgar, obscene, risqué topics aren't “allowed” anymore when in reality I think they’re probably on the rise. I think it’s more about content that is stereotypical or offensive to marginalized groups that is criticized and pushed back on. If that’s what he’s doing then maybe you have a point but based on what I’ve heard about the show I’m not sure that’s the case.

the boys and the girls are sexually harassing each other - among other things!
-
Something tells me it’s done in a way that isn’t considered to be approval or encouragement of harassment.
Like if they’re making fun of a douchebag boss who harasses his secretary then I don’t think that’s something “PC culture” has a problem with.

I wish I could explain!! but I don't want to spoil it. see one episode. haha :D

season 2 just came out - and holy shit - an 8th grader's talking bloody vagina - yup - you heard that right. plus an 9th grader's throbbing shlong. I guess they're getting away with it because it is a cartoon :D
