have you guys started using FF4 yet? I downloaded it at work yesterday and it looks like it comes with a speed-dial like interface optionally with new tabs.

I've been using FF4 since RC1.  What speed-dial like interface are you referring to?

yeah, nevermind, i guess I was wrong. I can't find what I was looking at yesterday. Maybe I was just confused, using chrome and installing IE9 and FF4 on the same day.

FF4 seems more or less the same.  Might be faster.  Meh... seems a ling wait for very little.  I use FF on one screen and Chrome on the other.

There is the new tab collections interface or whatever its called.  Tab Candy?  Upper right, you can have sets of tabs created.  I don't personally see a use for it though.

I do however LOVE the "Pin Tab as App" feature.  VERY COOL.

Is this like saving sessions in Opera?  I miss that.

Is this like saving sessions in Opera?  I miss that.  Note sessions is plural.

No, but I think you might be able to do that too.

Right click on a tab and select "Pin as App Tab".  The tab becomes much smaller and moves to the left.  I do it for tabs that I keep open most of the time (Pandora, Gmail, etc.).  Supposedly Chrome has a similar feature.

Bringing up multiple saved sets of tabs/sessions rules.  I miss that most from Opera.  Also, Chrome doesn't have a sidebar tool.

In FF I use All-In-One Sidebar.  In Opera it is built in.  Nothing like it in Chrome that I can find.

Fooling with Pin As App now...Thinks I likes...

I downloaded FF4 yesterday and have been using it. The only thing I've noticed is the Pin Tab as App thing and I like it, too.

It does seem a bit snappier, but I'm not sure I'll notice it much in a week or two.

no browser seems to keep that fresh snappiness unless you clean the history and stuff out one every week or two
