I was opening a letter last night with my index finger as I usually do (running it along the triangle to separate it) and about 3/4 the way though I felt it grab into my skin and make a nice 1 long gash on the side of my finger.
It hurt bad. Stupid envelope. They should really make those things safer. I mean really, what do they expect a person to do, use a letter opener or a knife or a scissors or something?

I always stick my finger in the top and rip down the side of the envelope. It's quick and easy and I've never got a paper cut that way.
Paper cuts suck :(

Paper cuts definately suck. Neosporin is your friend.

Paper cuts suck, but have you ever had a metal cut?! I worked in a metal fabrication shop and the metal was sharp, I had cuts on my fingers ALL the time.

I hate thin cuts like paper cuts. I hate thinking about them mostly. Just the thought is like fingernails on a chalkboard. :disbelief:

I once knew someone called Slow Drip.
As far as paper cuts go I got one right across my eye last year. Brushing an envelope off the top shelf of my desk into the garbage. Missed and it popped me in the eye slitting the lens.
That my friends sucked.

I remember that... makes me shiver to think about it. :disbelief:
