Bubba Ho-tep
« on: September 23, 2005, 08:20:17 PM »
Bubba Ho-tep is a great movie.

Elvis and JFK are both alive, living in a nursing home in Texas. But the place is haunted by a mummy in a cowboy hat and boots -- a Bubba Ho-tep. If Elvis and Kennedy want to keep their souls, they need to defeat the mummy.

Bruce Campbell gives a great performance as The King. Did I forget that Kennefy has been dyed black? He is played by Ossie Davis.

"What do I really have left in life but this place? It ain't much of a home, but it's all I got. Well, goddamnit. I'll be damned if I let some foreign, graffiti writin', soul suckin', son of a bitch in an oversized cowboy hat and boots take my friend's souls and shit 'em down the visitors toilet!"
