don't rent a car - "
the T" takes you everywhere! Its clean, safe and pretty cheap. Even on weekends traffic is a mess and there's a reason Massachusetts drivers are called "Mass-holes"
go to "Faneuil Hall" (aka
Quency Market) its mad-crazy packed with tourists but its on the list of things you have to do. (its basically just shopping and restaurants in a crowed area. People who enjoy such touristy crap also must go on the

The stadium is a bit of a ride south on the T but the Pats aren't playing that weekend so the crowds shouldn't be to bad at
Patriot Place - Gillette Stadium. Tons of shopping, plus the NFL's Patriots pro-shop and stadium!
also, while in town you must at some point buy a "Yankee's Suck" T-Shirt from a street vendor and eat some Clam Chowder.
there's more, but I'm at work and can't think of everything right now. Also, if you have a car, you could always visit Hartford... I'm 90 minutes away.
