iPhone version of Esink?

I tried hitting esink with imode parameter but it's not very well formatted for the phone any chance we could add the meta tag to set the viewport?

Something like this?

I'd also be happy to work on a a theme or something to make it cooler to browse mobile on the iPhone for us cool users. ;)

The default zoom doesn't work right no my iPhone 3G. Adding the meta tag takes care of it. The formatting is fine, it's just really small by default.

I was thinking I could try and make a nice iPhone specific version that's closer to the full version (which is what I currently use).

I think enough of us around here have iPhones that could make use of it.

Honestly the fastest and easiest is the WAP. Take the WAP and code in clickable links and allow the bbcode for smileys and images to function.

Works fine on my iPhone... are you using the default template?  I guess I don't understand the problem.  Zoom works fine for me too.

I'd use WAP but you'd lose some of the features of the full version.  What is the WAP link again?

The WAP version does the same thing. It's like something's not zooming right on my browser. It's trying to fill the page or something.

I tried both themes (they seem to be the same to me) and they both do it.


Arg I wish there was an iPhone emulator.

I'm going to try and do a video so you can see what I mean but when I navigate the zoom level is a good 25% of what I think it should be.

Only time I have trouble is funky zoom here in the reply box. I'm using standard skin

That is weird... it doesn't do that for mine.  Are you running the latest version of the firmware?

Yup, 2.2. I'm wondering if it has something to do with me browsing both versions of the website. I have the same problem on other pages that don't have the iPhone meta tag though so probably not.

The wap version sucks. No navigation once you get in a thread and I don't understand how you are actually supposed to post.
