Funny thing about this is even though I did well on that test, recognizing faces is really really hard. I'm helping my wife due the yearbook for our kids' school again this year. I'm trying to look at candid pictures of the kids and search for them in the school portraits to make sure the belong to the class that is shown on that page. It's super hard.
Speaking of which... I think am pretty sure I told this story before but what the hell, here it comes again. A few years ago I was doing this and was double-checking the names and pictures. I found an error for one of the 1st graders - a boy's picture was shown but it was a girl's name. I looked at the previous year's book and I saw that the girl was in kindergarten the year before, so there must have been some mixup. I emailed the principal and teacher to see if they recognized the boy in the picture with the girl's name... Later I asked my wife and she pointed out that the boy in the picture was the same kid, the girl I had looked up from the year before with her hair cut short. The second email to the principal and teacher was pretty embarrassing.
