Phoenix Visit
« on: October 19, 2017, 06:06:51 AM »
Traveled to the Phoenix and Prescott area a couple weeks ago.  What an interesting area.  Felt like I was living on Mars sometimes.  I think what shocked me the most is that the desert is pebbles not sand.  Huh.  Who knew?

I saw that they were more than doubling the price to all the major parks.  It seems like a lot, but I suppose it makes sense.  I saw the annual pass price didn't go up, so you could just pay $10 more and your second visit pays for the pass :)

... or they could do what we just passed in Connecticut for the state parks.  They now all have free access but they added a new $10 fee to everybody's vehicle registration cost.
