10Hz = deci-seconds?
« on: May 01, 2006, 11:45:33 AM »
My math terminology is failing me on this Monday morning.

I'm graphing 10Hz data and I am giving them the ability to adjust the graph (shifts, scale).  Problem is, I can't recall the term for adjusting by .1

Isn't there a term for this?  All I want to do is put a little (unit) beside each input box so they know what they're adjusting by.

Wiki tells me it's decisecond... (ds).  But that looks weird.

10-1 = deci
10-2 = centi
10-3 = milli
10-6 = micro
10-9 = nano
10-12 = pico

God I hate physics and chemistry some times.

Yeah, I remember that one because the first digit pass the decimal is a tenth.

Whatever. It works.
