And with economy being where it is at, this is the best time to be in school.
Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

I had a friend that did one year of CS and realized his life long dream was to be a journalist and switched. It's always good to just get in there and take some courses, you'll realize pretty quick what you like and don't like.

Good advice.

UCF would be my choice. They seem to have a very nice Computer Science curriculum. What do you guys think? And is "MS" Masters?

And if you don't have a bachelor's degree you should be looking at their undergraduate programs.

Graduate programs are Masters and PhD. I think you might be jumping the gun a little on that one ;)  Look for BSc programs (and stay away from the BA ones in "computer whatevering").

Well at UCD the CS degree is a BA.  Of course we also offer a BS in Computer Science Engineering.

I would like to program if its going to be fun. What would be really cool is to be like one of those guys that does computer forensics for the fbi. Like this kiddie porn guru set his pc on fire and pissed on it and we got the drive to boot but it has space age encryption so go crack it.

that'd rock.

Huh? My degree is a BS in CS (not CSE) from UCD.

You'll have lots of possible outcomes, but I would set your expectation at "normal, sometimes boring, sometimes interesting, computer job" like several of the people here have. But congrats on getting the opportunity to get a degree. At the very least it should open up some better opportunities.
