I have never really understood how anybody can be judged by skin color and skin color alone.  I grew up in an environment that had little to no color bias and was well into high school before I really understood how nasty these things could get outside of my community.  I judge folks on how they present themselves as well as how they conduct themselves.  Seems the only practical way that such a personal judgement could be levied.

That said, what I consider acceptable or reasonable behavior and what any other given person considers such should and will vary nearly infinitely.
