I've been using that for a while. Awesome that it's free. I wonder if they'll give money back to the people that bought the version 5 recently.

They still sell the pro version so i doubt they'll give refunds :(

oooohh...sorry to bump this, but I just discovered sketchup - it is freagin great. I was never too good with CADD or Maya - but this is exactly what I need. I'm just getting into it, but it seems fairly robust.

and Perspective, they have a mac version now!

I used it for my computer graphics class.  We had to model one of the buildings which someone had already modeled in sketchup.  So just loaded a few converters and I was good.

The only one that leaked was the very first one in 03. That was my first one though and it was a kit. I tore that one out and built a custom one. Since then none of my systems have leaked.

I used sketchup on the last one. I built a self contained system in a li-lian server tower for a friend of mine. Things bitchin.
