FF 5
« on: June 21, 2011, 09:37:14 AM »
Firefox 5 launched today.

Any takers?  Must not be much of a leap, as FF 4 launched relatively recently.

They're going to release 5, 6, and 7 in rapid succession.  From Lifehacker:

Firefox 5's new features include support for CSS animations, do-not-track on Android, and faster canvas graphics. Perhaps the biggest reason to upgrade to Firefox 5, however, is that you can now close multiple tabs more quickly because the tabs stay the same size.

I downloaded FF5 - and it looks very similar to IE9. First thing I noticed is that with the bookmark toolbar FF takes up more space...not that it matters much on a 23" screen...but still

and the reason for that is the IE places tabs next to url text box and ff places them on top

But in IE 9 you have the title bar taking up the same amount of space?

Export bookmarks to HTML and import them that way.
