So far?  Meh.  At least it didn't brick my phone when upgrading like every other upgrade ever has.

About the only new cool thing is the notification bar but I've found almost zero use for it.  They also pissed me off by moving video podcasts to a separate video app instead of having them in the ipod app.  So now I have to go to 2 places for my podcasts.  Fail.

At least there are no performance issues.

Ahh, I keep forgetting that. It's at least good to hear it's getting better because anything 3.0+ made me miserable.

I'm pretty new to iOS and also dumb, but when I upgraded my iPod Touch to 5, I lost all my music.  How do you get around that?

Hook it up to iTunes and sync again?  Not sure why you would have lost your music.

This latest update was painful.  I can no longer hook the iPod up through my 7 port hub.  Boo.

I never get why you  keep upgrading so early ober.  Got to wait for other people to find the flaws and apple to fix them.

Safari seems to be crashing a lot for me after the update. Especially on SMF forums like this one.

I usually wait a little longer, but I really wanted the new features.  I didn't have any issues upgrading this time.

the only performance issue i've encountered is that the sound check function doesnt work or doesn't work as well.

I used to be able to set my work speakers at a certain volume and ALL my music would play at that volume.

No longer - and I've checked about 6 times a day and it says sound check is on but the volume of songs is different and sometimes drastically so.
