Why was my sausage so cheap?
« on: November 08, 2013, 10:38:39 AM »
My wife brought home a pound and a half of store-made sausage a couple nights ago. I cooked it up and we had it over dirty rice two nights in a row.

It was only $2/lb.  So a little over $3 for the whole thing.  Thats like half the price of hotdogs.  It seems like it was really cheap but I don't know why.  The packaging didn't say "managers special" or anything like that and the expiration date was a week into the future.

How much should sausage cost?

I don't think you want to know how the sausage is priced.
