Does anyone have it yet?  I'm thinking about getting it, but don't know if I'd save time and money but just buying '05.

I'm gonna get it, once my BF2 fever settles down.  I just want the updated Steelers roster/players.  Plus they made a lot of improvements in 05... I'm curious to see what they changed this time (hopefully some of the annoying but minor bugs).

I heard something about a cone of vision for the quarterback affecting the accuracy of the passes?

Yeah, every QB has a cone that's based on their awareness (AWR) rating.  Supposedly it makes a pretty noticeable difference in the passing game.

I haven't decided whether or not to get this.  I've been playing a bit of NCAA, though.

I've been playing it since the day after it came out. Lots of fun. Much more balanced than previous madden games. A lot of the aspects of dynasty mode team management AI have been improved as well.

It's worth the money. It's much better than '05.
