And of course it arrives about 40 minutes before I'm taking off to go camping for a couple of days.

govtcheez03:  i kind of look for it - i seek out stupidity and annoy it until it either gets better, gets banned, or goes away on its own

How is it?
Kinda cool.  Had a problem with it and a HDMI connection to a monitor so I ended up plugging it into the TV, finished the setup, and then it worked fine with the HDMI.  I need to read up on how to use the I/O ports.

you reminded me about this in the photo thread. How are you liking it after having it for some time? I'm thinking of getting one to serve as a simple computer to play web kids games on hooked to a TV.
hey ethic if you and i were both courting lily allen..... oh wait, which one of us has a relationship that lasted more than the bus ride home?

Got one. Bought a cheap usb hub that was allegedly compatible but wasn't; used an old brick d-link that worked fine. Rather quaint using a tv for a monitor. Alas Christmas beckons so pi-time delayed.
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?.

Got mine a couple days ago too. Think I'll probably use it as a media center until I have something better to do with it (and more time to play with it)

Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

wow, I'm really interested in that android 4.1 device.  It looks pretty slick

Finally got round to getting a couple of these. Not going to do much more with them that use them to run some rotating dashboards in our ops room with https://github.com/stevepeak/taberific and http://sourceforge.net/projects/iwk-rpi/ but it's a start...

I'm probably going to be ordering a couple BeagleBone Black devices shortly. One to play with for a pinball machine controller and the other for a mini desktop. I think they're better than the Pi for things and roughly the same price.
