PCI bus spying

(1/1)

SoKrA:
Hello,
Say I wanted to see what gets sent to a specific device which uses the PCI bus. Would that be possible?

The OS could be either WinXP (32bit) or GNU/Linux-2.6 (64bit). Well that is if I finally manage to get the 64bit drivers and ndiswrapper working.

TIA

Steve:
I dont think you can but i could be wrong.

ygfperson:
there's probably a way... somehow... but why would you want to figure it out? just look for pci specs if you're looking to write a device driver

SoKrA:
Sorry for answering so late. I was expecting to recieve an e-mail if someone answered.

Well, I've looked for some specs, but AFAIK there aren't any, and the web page of the company doesn't work anymore. The only way to get it working under Linux is using ndiswrapper, but the drivers (or ndiswrapper) can't get associated with the AP, so I thought about trying to reverse-engineer the driver.
