Title: Orange Box Disdain

I bought Orange Box today thinking I could run i9t but my card can't run the required version of pixel shader or some such. Im pretty annoyed seeing as the store dude was sure that if I could run the previous versions, I could run the new ones. Apparently theres some patch for the problem im having but the kid who wrote it wants money for it. Bastard. Pissed off.

sucks.  it's worth the $ even if you have to get a new card (8800 GT?)

i think ill just like get the cheapest card that runs it...i REALLY don't wanna spend the money on a new card

I have a high end 6800 series AGP that runs it effortlessly.  They or their PCIe equivalent should be pretty cheap these days.
