I really like the design used for all the pages in this site:

The dude has just taken heaps of photos and then used the different sections of the pictures as buttons for navigation...genius!

You are right, the design is really good. I might use something like that for my page, if I find the motivation -- it adds a nice personal touch.

It's called Coolmenus4. I got it at www.dhtmlcentral.com (http://www.dhtmlcentral.com/) a long time ago. It should be there somewhere.
