Ok, I know there was a thread about this a long time ago. Why don't we have an OS forum? The topic came to mind when I was going to ask a linux related question. I know many of the people here use linux, i remember i frequently asked questions in the old linux forums we had over at the OTHER Place.
Anyhow here's the question, for those of you who might be using mandrake, do you guys have a good mp3 player for it?

Maybe this'd belong in software?
-
Linux is usually outside of the "Software" forum in most boards :)

do you guys have a good mp3 player for it?

Now how does that answer my freaking question jverkoey? !
Anyhow the reason I am asking this is because I've tried xmms and have problems running with my specific distribution, and i've looked around but haven't quite found one that suits my needs. Sort of like Winamp.

No offense man, I can't say I use Mandrake so I can't be 100% helpful. Didn't mean any hard feelings O.o

haven't been by in a while but xmms? or any of the other mp3 players for linux? fedora core 3 comes with two by default (xmms and rhythmbox). i've grown partial to zinf myself, but xmms has the flexibility that the others don't have, like lirc control
//edit: and wma, flac, mp3, ogg, etc play
