I ate some pretty weird things in South America.
in Peru I had Llama in three different forms: Steak (very tender, quite tastey but not something I could eat a whole lot of), Milanesa (thin sliced, breaded and fried. extremely tastey), and Empanadas (meat was slow cooked, very tastey).
In Argentina I had many Asados, which usually include morcillas (blood sausage) and chinchulines (intestines) among other bits of cow. I'm not a big fan of the blood sausage though.
