The CrafsMan Show - if you enjoy crafts of all kinds, this is an awesome channel to watch. I've been subscribed for about two years. Last year I made two sets of epoxy and wood earrings inspired by the crafsman. The crafsman has a very calming (most of the time) voice and the overall way he edits his videos is good for my soul. I said, most of the time, because he is just now getting popular and with that I feel he is still trying to find his way for the channel which he can stick to.

Here are some note worthy video to get a good feel of what this channel is all about:

Eric Rosen - chess channel

I'm not sure how this popped up in my feed 4 or 5 months ago. But I was instantly crawn and started playing chess again because of it. Why again? well, I go through these periods every few years when I'll play for a few months, get to a certain place with my knowledge, plateau, and lose interest. I used to play quite a bit between 7th and 10th grade - and got pretty good and I think I still have a rating with the US Chess Federation. Anyway, this guy, Eric, similarly to the crafsman, has a super calming voice and demeanor. He doesn't get excited; his emotions are subdued. But he is vey thoughtful and I bet he is a wonderful chess teacher. I have learned a lot from his videos in a short time.

BTW, his videos are basically somewhat edited twich streams - but that doesn't bother me

The Handyman: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtXVIqkc3iBk0bV5gvcNWgw

I don't watch this channel regularly, but only when I need some help around the house - he seems to have an answer. He does a good job showing how to do handyman types of things around the house. It is an essential channel for professional home owners ;)

Here is a recent awesome one you all should watch - I wish I knew of this trick a few weeks ago....

Last one, I promise: Richard Gene The Fishing Machine https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzGaX29DR0VlH2tUCODFixg

there are a TON of fishing channels on yt - I mean, it seems like everyone who has a rod and a boat has a channel. Some are hugely succesful - actually there are many. And BTW I am not knocking this, I think it is fantastic that people (and I think mostly younger guys) are watching this type of content and hopefully being inspired enough to go out themselves.

Anyway, I've watched (mostly with my son) many of the other channels, and they are fun, but I could not find one I would stick to - until I discovered Richard Gene. He has a small channel still, but I find him pretty entertaining and extremely knowledgeable. The guy knows how to fish. It is in his blood. He seems humble and is eager to share what he knows with the world. I have picked up many tips that improved my fishing already.

Many of the other fishing channels display $80K boats, $1000's in tackle - I find them unrelatable. Richard Gene has a small jon boat and uses a variety of tackle - from easily accessible to everyone to more target specific.

oooh, I forgot about one more: JCS - Criminal Psychology https://www.youtube.com/c/JCSCriminalPsychology

These are very well edited and narrated videos. If you guys like true crime type of deals, you will like this as well. There is a concentration on the entire interrogation process, both from law enforcement and the suspect side. very, very interesting stuff.
