Cool idea.  Too bad little mice like that are basically usable by me.

I change mine every three.  But I also use rechargeable.

I have the awesomest mouse ever: http://www.apple.com/magicmouse/ but change the batter probably ever 4 to 6 weeks.  luckily they are provided by my employer.

I got one and I hated it.  Also seemed to trigger the touch part when I wasn't intended it to.

I did disable the 2-finger swipe which would do annoying things like act as a back or forward button in my web browser.  I'd be trying to swipe left to right on a page that was wider than my window and accidentally have another finger brush the surface with it and all of a sudden I'd end up on another page.
